“Great Expectations: What You Need To Know for Cocktails and Conversations”

Home / Home2 / “Great Expectations: What You Need To Know for Cocktails and Conversations”

Last Thursday I spent an hour in the company of Maria Daniel and Dianne Hunt, two of the speakers who will headline Cocktails and Conversations: If Not Now, When? at the gorgeous Drew Manor. As we sipped on a pot of jasmine tea and explored their topic outlines for our October 2nd event, I could not help but think about the collective energy that it takes to bring a big project to life, and the gratitude I felt for every encouraging word, email, and text that you’ve sent during the months leading up to our first Experience. We are stronger when we stand on each other’s shoulders.

Cocktails and Conversations is here! If you purchased your tickets, thank you! We are grateful for your support, and thrilled to have you as part of the Forward Forty family.

If you haven’t yet purchased your tickets, please head over to www.forwardforty.com/theexperience to grab some. We have just a few left.

The Nitty Gritty:

We open doors at 4:00 p.m. and would love for you to be on time to enjoy the company of other amazing women (yes, men are welcome too!), sip on a welcome cocktail and taste some mouth-watering canapés from Chef Debra Metivier. During this time you are also invited to browse our exclusive market space with fashion designer Meiling, global beauty brand Revlon, noted distributor Oscar Francois and their Aunt Jackie’s Curls & Coils line of hair care products, designer SewLisa, fine jeweller Janice Derrick and Couture Hats By Melena.

All guests will be required to be seated by 4:50 pm, when the first Conversation led by Sharon Christopher will begin. We have a beautiful evening planned, but at the end of it all remember this – at 8:45 pm, when the lights are dimmed, the music stops playing, and you have eaten, drank, and taken your photographs from every angle, I want you to leave more committed than you’ve ever been to have your daily decisions bring you closer to the life you want.

That’s what the evening is really about.

The truth is, your happiness and success are created by your decisions, and it’s up to you to be intentional about the ones you make every single day. If Cocktails and Conversations teaches you nothing else, it should teach you this; that you are worthy of the life you want.

I can’t wait to meet you on October 2nd.
