I’m a huge believer that no matter what your age the best base for make-up is smooth skin.
At fourteen, I often mixed brown sugar in my mom’s cleanser, which I used to sneak from her dresser, and lightly massage it into my face as I showered.
That trick may have helped because as I’ve gotten older I’ve found I have no issue creating home based products to eliminate dead skin from my face.
I still have lines, glorious laugh lines around my eyes and I know they are the first sign that my skin is beginning to change. And even though I embrace them for the stories that they tell, I also want to have my skin look even and dewy without emphasizing those lines. That’s when my ‘no make-up’ make-up look comes in. It’s light and provides some coverage but I can still see and appreciate how my face really looks without a ton of cosmetics.
Great Video as always Forward Forty! Keep up the great work!
