My Big Bang Theory About Success On Social Media

Let’s get real for a second. I’ve got a question for you. Are you still posting content on your top social media channels haphazardly? Yes? Ok, lean in for a moment, won’t you? There is one word I need you to think about. Strategy. It doesn’t get more real than that. When it comes to the growth of your business ⬆️and your online presence, it’s all about your content strategy.
You have to focus on all the tangible media stuff you create. You know it: the stories, the visuals, the downloadables. These are super important to your business growth because they demonstrate who you are, what you offer and the expertise you bring to the world.
But here’s my BIG BANG THEORY; all that content has to be created and distributed in a way that makes sense. Essentially think about its distribution as it relates to a marketing plan that works in the service of your business.
I’m not saying it’s easy. It’s not. But it’s about time you focus on being strategic. It’s about time your content stopped screaming to the masses and became more focused on the people you want to care about what you offer the world.
Look, I know your next question. Where do you start? As always, it’s best at the top. You’ve got to figure out who you are creating content for, where do they hang out (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin etc) but before you even do that (and more) you must, and this is a big one, you must figure out how the soul of your brand connects to the stories you wish to share on social media.
