The Inspiration Behind Meiling For Foward Forty And Our Fashion Collaboration

Fashion designer Meiling and I were inspired to co-design a  collection of loungewear, with of some of our favourite lived-in staples that could look great both indoors and out, was easy on the body and celebrated a woman’s joyful spirit.
The collection is full of easy separates: PJs, kimonos, silk jumpsuits, dresses and shorts that can be mixed and matched to create fun and stylish looks for “everybody and every body.”
For instance, one of my favourites, the silk pyjamas, can be worn as is, or belted as a jumpsuit; the top can be worn with shorts, and the bottom with a jacket/blazer from your closet, with heels or cool oxfords. The silky bedtime number will literally take centre stage in your wardrobes.
I hope you love our offerings as much as we loved creating these stylish pieces for you. Because this was a capsule, we limited production to under sixty items but we are also accepting orders from the line tailored to your body.
The Meiling For Forward Forty capsule wardrobe (just a few left) is available at No. 6 Carlos Street, Woodbrook; and The Gallery Long Circular Mall.
