Your love affair will begin as you sail into the crystal clear water surrounding this volcanic island. Upon its rocky promontories, its signature whitewashed buildings with maljo blue domed roofs offer a spectacular contrast to the Greek island’s earthy caldera- created as a result of one of history’s biggest volcanic eruptions.
ROMANCING IN THE STONES
ROMANCING IN THE STONES
Whether you are here to relish Santorini’s world famous sunsets, its celebrated local cuisine or spoil yourself in a luxurious ocean view hotel. Santorini is unparalleled as a magical destination. With its natural beauty and simplistic charm Santorini effortlessly awakens the romantic within you.
When you get to Santorini here’s what you don’t want to miss:
What Fira lacks in size, it more than makes up with its vision to be a capital city that caters to visitors. There is good shopping, a breath-taking view, great restaurants, luxury hotels, glorious sunsets and a pulsating nightlife.
When you’re ready to rest your well-trekked feet, visit Fira’s kissing fish foot spa, here the ticklish Garra Rufa fish provides quite a pedicure; the entire expereince will rejuvenate your soul as well.
Perissa is a seaside village on the south-east coast of Santorini with several kilometres of black sand beach and crystal blue water. The contrast will surprise and delight you. The sand’s colour results from the volcanic geography of the island. Oh, you don’t want to forget your sandals, the sand gets hot hot hot!
The sunset in the village of Oia is probably one of the most famous in the world best viewed from the ruins of Agios Nikolaos castle.
Arkrotiri Archaeological Site
Arkrotiri is a well preserved ancient coastal city that dates back some 3500 years ago.
Its name gives away the surprise but this volcanic beach lives up to its reputation.
Hop on board a schooner for an invigorating and relaxing evening as you head to Palea Kameni for a rejuvenating swimming in the hot springs.
Ranked as one of the top restaurants on the island. The three level dining area is simple yet charming, but if you’re there for the sunset then you should pre-book a table on level three.
There are a few wineries on the island and most offer a guided tour.
In Santorini, the donkey is the island’s prized mascot. In Fira, enjoy a ride on one of the many bejewelled beasts you’ll see. I recommend that you select a ride from a reputable guide where animal cruelty is not an issue and your safety on the island’s steep hills is paramount. While it may be the least romantic on the list, the ride can be good fun nonetheless.
Breakfast with a view
In Santorini, anything romantic can be requested and waking up to a personalised breakfast tray overlooking the Aegean Sea is possibly the best start you will have to any morning.
During peak season the crowds can be maddening so the best time to enjoy Santorini is a little bit before or after the summer crowds.

Grab Your Free 2019 December Social Media Monthly Calendar And Crush Your Holiday Marketing.
Planning your content calendar is tough enough during the year, but as the holiday approaches things can get more intense. For some #bossbabes, the months between October right up until Christmas represents over 50% of annual sales, for others, the percentage is much more. How do you plan content for the holidays?
Let’s get started with the understanding about the timing of your planning. When to start?I recommend planning your holiday content strategy 12 months before the holidays.Say What??!!I know that sounds really far fetched but think about it; there is really no better time to rationalise the kind of content that will have the most impact with your audience than directly after the season’s end. The period between Boxing Day and New Year’s Day is often best. Not only can you scan the feeds you love for inspiration (they will be filled with all kinds of relevant seasonal content) but the quiet days after Christmas allow for reflection, the essence of what content planning is all about. Now the process does not have to be intense, it’s the holidays after all, but you can scribble notes, story ideas and relevant sites in the early sections of your Social Media Planner. That way you’re sure to remember and begin your execution strategy by mid-year Yes, that soon! There’s nothing wrong with getting the holiday conversation going early. Start hinting at it by thinking about what you’ll be selling and how you can align your captions, graphic cards, stories, images and even your videos with your key sales objectives. Remember, as I keep preaching, connections matter first, then the sale.“Ok, but what should you do now?I’ve got you.
