One of the biggest regrets you’ll ever have as a human is trying to fit in. And by fit in I mean.. (changing yourself to what someone else thinks desirable is the only way to be admired/ changing the way you show up on social media to please society’s standards/changing your humour to be more palatable to those you meet). And even changing your emotions and sensitivities to be more “chill” and quieting your inner self to be more acceptable. Change is (great / a good thing/ works for me). But it only works when you are becoming more of yourself, not less just to please someone else. No one who is meant to be in your circle will want you to be smaller, in any sense of the word.
