The Planning Table is hosted by Forward Forty at The Commons. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following policies and terms.

1. Refund Policy

Because The Planning Table is an intimate event with only 10 seats and preparation begins in advance, all ticket purchases are final.

Refunds are not provided for changes of mind, scheduling conflicts, illness, late arrival or failure to attend. You may, however, transfer your ticket to another eligible attendee in accordance with the transfer policy below.

If the event is cancelled by us and no replacement date is offered, you will receive a full refund.

2. Cancellation Policy

Please notify us as soon as possible if you can no longer attend.

Cancelling your attendance does not automatically qualify you for a refund. You may transfer your ticket to someone else up to 48 hours before the event.

No-shows and unused tickets will not be refunded or credited toward a future event.

3. Transfer-of-Ticket Policy

Tickets may be transferred to another person at no additional charge up to 48 hours before the event.

To request a transfer, email judette@forwardforty.com with:

• Your name and booking details
• The new attendee’s full name
• The new attendee’s email address and telephone number
• Any relevant dietary information

The new attendee must meet any eligibility requirements stated for the event and agree to these policies. Tickets may not be resold for more than the original purchase price.

4. Event Rescheduling or Cancellation

If The Planning Table must be moved to another date, your ticket will automatically be transferred to the new date.

You may accept the new date or request a refund by contacting us within five calendar days of receiving the rescheduling notice. After that period, your ticket will remain confirmed for the new date.

If we cancel the event without offering a replacement date, the ticket price will be refunded using the original payment method. Direct-deposit payments will be refunded to a verified bank account.

We are not responsible for travel or other personal expenses connected to attending the event.

5. Privacy Policy

We collect information needed to manage your booking and participation, including your name, contact information, payment status, dietary information and any details you voluntarily provide.

We use this information to:

• Process and confirm your booking
• Send event instructions, reminders and follow-up information
• Manage dietary or accessibility requests
• Maintain necessary financial and business records
• Send marketing communication where you have agreed to receive it

Card payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not receive or store your complete credit-card details. Direct-deposit information is used only to confirm or manage your payment.

We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us process payments, deliver emails, manage registrations or operate the event. We do not sell your personal information.

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to any information we are required to retain for legal, accounting or administrative purposes. Contact judette@ forwardforty.com with any privacy-related request.

6. Photography and Video Notice

Photography and video recording may take place during The Planning Table. Images or recordings may be used by Forward Forty and The Commons for editorial, educational, promotional and social-media purposes.

By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in event photography or video without payment or additional compensation.

Please email before the event and speak with a member of the team when you arrive if you prefer not to be photographed or recorded. We will make reasonable efforts to respect your request, although exclusion from wide or group shots cannot always be guaranteed.

Attendees may not record the working session or photograph, film or publish identifiable content featuring another attendee without that person’s permission.

7. Dietary and Allergy Disclaimer

Please disclose dietary requirements and food allergies when registering, or no later than seven days before the event.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests communicated within that period. However, food is prepared in a kitchen where common allergens may be present, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or completely prevent cross-contact.

Attendees with severe or life-threatening allergies should contact us before purchasing a ticket so we can determine whether safe accommodation is possible.

8. Terms and Conditions

Booking and Payment

Your seat is confirmed only when full payment has been received and you have received a booking-confirmation email.

For direct-deposit purchases, submitting a payment form or receipt does not by itself reserve a seat. The booking becomes confirmed after the payment has been received and verified.

Incomplete orders, unpaid bookings and abandoned checkouts do not reserve a seat.

Event Participation

Attendees are expected to treat the host, team, venue and other guests with respect. We reserve the right to remove anyone whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory or harmful. A person removed for such behaviour will not receive a refund.

Planning Results

The Planning Table provides education, guided planning, discussion and practical business support. Participation does not guarantee a particular financial, professional or business result. You remain responsible for your own decisions and the implementation of your plan.

Intellectual Property

The Business Reset Guide + Planner, presentation materials, exercises, frameworks and other resources provided at the event belong to Forward Forty or their respective copyright owners.

Your purchase gives you permission to use the materials for your own personal or business planning. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, teach, sell, publish or share the materials without written permission.

Recording the facilitated working session is not permitted.

Personal Belongings and Safety

Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings and for making appropriate decisions regarding their own health, mobility, transportation and participation.

Forward Forty and The Commons are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged belongings, or for indirect losses connected to attendance, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to the Event

Reasonable changes may be made to the schedule, menu, speakers, activities or event format where necessary. Such changes do not ordinarily qualify attendees for a refund, provided the main event is still delivered.

Governing Law

These policies and terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
