5. New Success. Old Trials

I’ll never forget the day when I called my (name loved one) crying, and in a panic because my ideas kept failing and the bank kept calling.

I’ll never forget the time I poured over the bills deciding which ones I could pay now and which I’d do later, even though they were all due at the same time

I’ll never forget all the risks I took that didn’t pay off.

I’ll never forget the risks I took that paid too little.

I’ll never forget sharing old battle scars and others opening up to me saying they felt like a failure, of us sobbing together because there is good company in a bad bout of misery.

I’ll never forget my faith, my hard work, the belief of others, the belief in myself and tinkering with my business model over and over, again and again.

I never want to forget any of these moments because they have given me the gift of knowing what it’s like to struggle when you’re running a business, when you aren’t funded, when you weren’t born with a gold spoon feeding you.

When you still need to tinker with your idea and frankly the marketing.

But also I want you to know there is another side of struggle. Knowing that there’s an end, a light, a peak that is possible, and to tell you that you have company in this.

On this Day I tell my story so that you might not feel alone, or in despair, or like that the end of your business is near…that you my friends are a warrior as am I. ❤️
