Inspiration For A New Year January 2023

5. New Year. New Work Realisation

Friendly reminder that ____ (the universe has space to hold all our dreams/ there is space for all of us to succeed/ there is enough room on the planet for each of us to live the lives we want ✨).

Listen up….

Perhaps the most revolutionary thing I have ever heard is that except in rare cases: NO ONE IS YOUR COMPETITION.

And if you happen to see someone doing exactly what you are ___(doing/ creating building) just know that being successful in your space____ (just creates more opportunity for you/ should be seen as an inspiration/ allows your own growth).

But first you’ve got to change your mindset. ❤️

4. New Year. Loving Me Some Me

I know it’s not cool to talk about COVID anymore but boy-o-boy did it put a spell on me. Or should I say it put some size on me?

Now I want to be honest, I have never been (a standard size/ skinny/ whatever society says /describes as thin and beautiful)

I’ve gone from a ……. (list your size range) to a (list your size range) but these extra pounds made me realise something about the world.

There is a huge gap in the treatment given by others.

When I’m a size 0/6/8/10/12 the attention and kindness is present. The favours and compliments always come. Strangers see me.

With my (20/30/40 extra pounds ) I instantly felt a difference in how people saw me.

____(I feel a different energy in my public interactions/ I am ignored in public places/ Strangers are not so welcoming/ I get a different kind of energy from folks)

This has made me so ( feel sad, angry/ more aware of the double standards.)

We scale our love for people. People are judged harshly based on their size.

Each of us has inner work toward how we judge our own bodies and how we take that judgment out into the world. We can work on loving ourselves but we must work on loving each other too.

Have you experienced this? ❤️

3. New Year. New Standards

One of the biggest regrets you’ll ever have as a human is trying to fit in.

And by fit in I mean.. (changing yourself to what someone else thinks desirable is the only way to be admired/ changing the way you show up on social media to please society’s standards/changing your humour to be more palatable to those you meet).

And even changing your emotions and sensitivities to be more “chill” and quieting your inner self to be more acceptable.
Change is (great / a good thing/ works for me).

But it only works when you are becoming more of yourself, not less just to please someone else.

No one who is meant to be in your circle will want you to be smaller, in any sense of the word. Not a follower, not another friend or family member and certainly not …… (fill in the blanks)

2. New Year. New Friends

Just realised as I was counting down to midnight on December 31st that most of my close friends (now live abroad/ migrated/ have drifted away etc.)

So I’m in the process of—– (widening my circle/ getting to know more people/ forming a bigger network).

Do you feel as if you need more great people in your life because if you do, how about if we did this together?

Post below your:
-First name
-What you do
-Fun fact about yourself

I’ll love reading through these comments but also if you’re wanting to connect with people this would be a great way to reach out for a friendship meet-up. 😏❤️

Let’s go!!

1. New Year. Do The Work

You won’t know when all your work will pay off. Sometimes you won’t understand why all the hours you’re spending building a business online aren’t paying its dividends now. You won’t know the resilience you’ve built over time will catch you until it catches you. Do the work now. Continue on. Show your worth. People are watching. Your audience and customers will find you. Do not give up.
