It’s been said you learn more from the testimony than the highlight reel

That’s why I want to share a little bit about what goes on behind closed doors.

On the outside, you see __________ [what you show on social media], but what most people don’t know about my __________ [industry] business is __________ [something you keep behind the scenes].

I keep the difficult parts of my business (to myself / covered up pretty well / behind closed doors / etc.)

But I figure if I show you how I keep overcoming hurdles and pushing past (the discomfort/ the pain) you’ll get to see the passion behind my purpose.

I started (names your business) business because I saw an “opportunity ” and took it.

Okay, let me explain … I started it because __________ [why you started your business],

Looking back, it really was a chance to help __________ [your ideal client] with __________ [how you help/serve them]. And THAT’S a cause to raise a glass to.

Since then I’ve ________ (state the way you have grown)

Friend, I have a question for you. Why do you do, what you do?

I love my work, I can’t lie. As a __________ [potter, an online educator photographer/ etc.], I am used to being so busy. Now that we are in (lockdown
/ slowly starting to reopen again ) I feel a different types of stress ______ ( to be constantly marketing / to do Lives every day so people don’t forget what I do / to keep calling old customers etc.)

Sometimes the pressure of it all can get __________ [tiring/overwhelming/etc.]!

To avoid it getting the best of me here are 3 things I do to keep from burning out.

[First way you avoid burnout (Making time for / to ______every Sunday / night / day etc. )]__________

[Second way you avoid burnout (Assuring that I finish work by 6pm to relax with my family/ make calls and stay connected / write in my journal etc. )]__________

[Third way you avoid burnout (Taking frequent breaks during the day)]

All of it helps and keeps me ready for the long climb. What’s one way you stay grounded amidst these chaotic times.

I’m incredibly passionate about what I do, in case you couldn’t tell. lol
But I’ve never really shared with you WHY?

I have many reason but one answer would definitely be __________ [the idea that I birthed something so amazing from scratch / I get to show up and live my creative dreams every day / I get to work remotely alongside incredibly talented people/etc.]. __________

[One person that stands out/A few people that comes to mind/Etc.] would be __________ [@username(s)].

Thanks to __________ [ him/her/them for inspiring me during moments I’ve felt defeated /them sharing their wisdom during life’s uncertainties/ etc.], I’ve gotten to where I am today.

This journey with its ups and downs isn’t easy but I’m glad to have ______ by my side.
