4. A Lot Can Change In A Year

Around this time last year, I was ( in the throes of uncertainty/ lost a big investment/ life felt chaotic, my anxiety was at an all time high) and the future felt unclear.
Today, I feel present, happy. I just celebrated ( a successful business launch, reinvested in a long term asset with lower risk/ 3 months post surgery etc.) and I’ve never felt more at peace with whatever comes my way.
I don’t say this to brag, but I say this to remind you that brighter days are ahead and that life can and WILL change. —-(You are resilient and will make it through/ you just have to trust in God/ know that your resilience has no bounds).
You are the secret sauce to getting through every struggle, every heartbreak, every obstacle.
Don’t fret too much about the future because as long as you are present/ focused and guided, it will all be alright. ❤️

3. Make A Friend and Meet Up Challenge

✨Making friends as an adult is hard and after the pandemic even more so. However since I’ve built my online community here, I thought why not do some friendship matching !!! ✨
This is how we do it: ✨
✅ Leave your name, where you live and something about you (job, quirk, interest) in the comments
✅ Then feel free to follow people in your location based on shared interests etc, dm and meet up!
☕️ Oh don’t forget to tag me in a photo when you do. The power of community is only as good as the people participating so be bold, it’s not weird. It’s called netsocialising❤️

2. Getting Over My Fear Of Social Media

“You’re always great at everything you try” I’ve been told this a lot in my life.
The secret to my success?
Never try anything that I might remotely be bad at. But this is such terrible advice because ( it’s something that’s held me back so many times in my life from trying new things/ it made me afraid to do things I was not so great at/ held me back from taking risks).

So when I learned that I had to begin using social media for my business ( my brain instantly said NO/ the thought that my life would be an open book didn’t fly with me / I thought I’d hate talking to people I don’t know and my life wasn’t fabulous anyway)

But I became tired of limiting myself. Especially when I saw others succeeding at it.

So I started slowly building an online community… 😅
And guess what? I bet you think I’m going to say I actually did really well…but yeah no, I sucked at first.
But I was proud that my not being “good” mattered less than being afraid. Anyway 6 years on, I can say I’m doing ok now and I’m even selling a few of —( state what your offers are. )

The best part of my journey was being able to let myself not be perfect, even to be downright terrible. And to settle into the fact that ___( social media / learning online marketing / selling while doing LIVES) wasn’t about me being “good” as so many things in my life have been, but rather being consistent in the face of fear
Real perfection is the freedom of just doing whatever you can in the moment and believing you can get better. And at the very least it’s about not being afraid to try

1. Work From Home

When you work from home you need to set reminders——( to reach out to people / to not make social media your constant companion/ to take frequent breaks).

Today, (I got to take a good walk with my BFF/ went to Starbucks and met (my colleague / friend/ employee ) and (spent an hour just laughing and connecting/ brainstormed a new idea/ treated her to a Latte ☕️ and we shot the breeze.) ❤️
💡My advice? Take breaks especially if you’re working solo from home. Go for some fresh air, a nice lunch, meet a friend and/or text someone who is far away… even if it’s just to say hello and that you miss them 🙏🏻
What are your best practices to keep connected, especially if you work from home?
