My New Project

It’s always a relief when a project finally comes together, right? That’s exactly how I’m currently feeling about __________ [the interior design project I’m working on/my new cookbook/etc.].

Right now, I’m in the final stages of __________ [ordering furniture and fixtures/proofreading/etc.] before I move on to the best part: __________ [staging/printing/etc.]!

I can’t wait to __________ [show you the final design/share these amazing recipes with you/etc.]. Until then, my head is down, working!

What’s something you’re excited about these days?

A Look At Our Mindset

What happens when life gets in the way of your plans? Do you give up? How do you move forward?

I can’t begin to tell you the number of curve balls life and business have thrown in our direction but they don’t keep me down. This got me thinking about the tools I use to support a healthy mindset.

Here are 3 “mindset tools” and how my team and I work things through bumpy challenges.

[Resilience: We can learn fom this and spot the signs so it never happens again /Courage: We have built new courage muscles and they have only made us more brave to attack what comes our way/etc.].__________

[Creativity: this experience is helping us think of recurring issues in new ways/Resourcefulness: we are storing all the fresh ideas in a Story Box so it’s easy to refer to all the new ways to do things/etc.].__________

[Collaboration: there is no shame in saying we need help, it’s healthy and it’s necessary. Imagination: if this didn’t happen, we wouldn’t have the opportunity to invent a new solution/etc.].

What’s the one mindset tool from above that you think it will be easy for you to adopt? Let me know in the comments.
