Weekend Vibes

Here comes the sun lil’ darling

There is always a —-(Saturday/ Sunday/ weekend)——-( in the Caribbean/ state your island) where____ ( the sun is blazing / the markets are full, friends are hanging out/ people are shopping, restaurants are busy with people picking up soup or their favourite barbeque)

Legs are out, in shorts, arms in sleeveless dresses, faces reflect the beams of the sun. Joy is exploding as fast the rainbows come in and then fade from the sky.

It’s (a day/days) like (this/ these) that make/s you—- (feel happy about being Caribbean or state your island / forget about the challenges that await you when you turn on the computer / feel how wonderful being alive and appreciative is)

That —–(day/weekend) always feels like the best of everything and today, my friends, was that day. Can you feel the joy?

Celebration Time, Come On

Think about it for a second. When was the last time you celebrated something small? I mean something tiny and insignificant to others and yet it meant the world to you.

Come to think of it, we celebrate all the big things. ___ (weddings/ births and birthdays/ anniversaries/ graduation etc.).

We put those things up all the time on social media but that brings up a question I can’t help but think of. When—— (you’re not married, don’t have children, lost a partner, have “not made” it as yet) should you still celebrate?

My opinion? You should. Every tiny win that is personal and meaningful should never feel like it is not enough.

—–(So booking your hair appointment /increasing sales on your website / seeing a therapist /going on a first date/ seeing the first tiny bud in your garden etc.) is worthy of a share if it feels good to you.

So let’s celebrate. What’s a tiny something recently that you’re proud of or want to celebrate?

I’ll go first, I’m proud of ______(state your tiny win)

What can we celebrate for you right now? What are you proud of?

Every space has its set of unwritten rules, and I have very little say on those rules but I can put in the time showing up, taking people behind the scenes, working hard to present the real me so I connect with my followers and they connect with me.
