Building Confidence For Social Media

Do you ever look at your Instagram and think argggghhhh!

1.is too —— / not —— enough
2.has too many photos of——– / not enough ——–
3.is not cohesive enough /is too planned
4.is all about my ——/ not enough about my —–
5.doesn’t have enough content / I don’t post enough.
6.doesn’t have enough reels, videos, and other fun Instagram features.

STOP! This is a creative block.

It puts a negative narrative in your head that _______ (gets in the way of self-expression / stops you from moving forward with projects / makes you care too much about what other people think)

I think to create work you love, constantly, confidently and showcase it on social media, you must _____(state your solution to a creative block)

Look, we all have thoughts that can hinder our process and intrude on our self worth but the truth is sometimes we have to stop second- guessing ourselves and just show up on these square grids anyway.

Fitness Is A Journey

I am thrilled that everyone loves my fitness journey. It’s been_____ (3 months /10 months / 1 week etc.) but I have some FACTS that I’ve learned about getting healthy and strong

1) Be ready (to have inner battles every day / have a strong mindset / get over mental hurdles). As you can see in these photos, I packed on some pounds and expecting to lose everything at once is unrealistic. So be patient. I’ve learned it’s small daily decisions matter over the long terms.

2) _____ (Looks do not equal fitness / size does not indicate health / numbers don’t tell the full picture). As my weight goes down I don’t want to be mentally taxed and lose weight only to look good. I’ve learned mental wellness is as important as physical greatness

3) Results can very slow. ______ (Honour your journey/ lower your expectations and get real / have fun in the process and don’t take yourself too seriously).

4) If anyone promises a miracle, it likely means an unacceptable amount of sacrifice or a bad learned that wont bring long terms results. Long-term results will always be important than short term fixes.

What have you learned in your fitness journey?

Feeling Good

I woke up in the middle of the night and felt some kind of way.

I thought (am I doing enough / am I making enough content/ I should be more fit / I need to change what I’m doing because look at everyone else)

Comparison is a thief and it can snatch even a good night’s rest

But the truth is, if you’re doing what you can…you’re doing enough.

There are always going to be people out there (making more / doing more / seeing more) and making it look easy. But that doesn’t mean it is.

My friend once said social media isn’t real life so don’t let it and the comparison trap convince you otherwise.

How do you reframe things when you get stuck?
