Do you feel like there are so many things in marketing that never shift? ***Same, sister, same.***
Like the way you’ll always need leads to keep your sales pipeline flowing.
Or the fact that marketing is all about repetition—and you should never tire of sharing your key messages over and over again.
Honestly, sticking to the basics has been such a game-changer in my life.
Following the fundamentals of marketing has allowed my online business to grow in ways I never imagined.
It’s also helped me take a bird’s-eye view of my priorities, shifting them in ways that align with what I want out of life—more time freedom, anyone?
But here’s the deal: marketing may not change much, until it does. And when it makes a shift, it can be massive
Right now, that shift is all about AI—specifically, AI prompts and in my field, AI prompts in digital marketing.
Those tiny pieces of code, as I like to call them, written in plain English, are reshaping how we connect and serve our communities + sell to our customers.
AI prompts can be used for a bunch of digital marketing activities: planning campaigns, creating killer content, crunching the numbers, email marketing etc.
Their ability to make digital marketing faster, smoother, and so much easier is where they shine the brightest.
I mean, as small biz owners, we’re all here for that, right?
The Goal For Using AI Prompts In Your Digital Marketing
Now as I have said HERE, there are prompts, and then there are PROMPTS.
And if you’re like me, you want the ones that aren’t generic with a one-size-fits-all approach. You know the ones that give half-baked, half-hearted output?
The goal as small biz owners is to always begin your marketing activities with AI prompts that you can customise to your unique circumstances and then take those and run.
Today, let’s talk about how you can tap into an AI-powered prompt for email marketing.
I’ll share one prompt with you from the AI Copy Collective which is an online product I created to help small biz owners understand how to strengthen and augment the use of AI in their businesses.
If you’re here to power up your efficiency with the help of artificial intelligence, what I’m about to show you will give you the edge.
Let’s dive in.
No. 1| Why AI Prompts Are Essential For Digital Marketing
First things first, I hate starting a blog post without getting down to basics.
So let’s kick this off with a key definition—what exactly are AI prompts?
I tell my students all the time in the 5-module course I’ve packed into the AI Copy Collective , that you can think of an AI prompt like a question or query.
That definition is pretty simple.
But in digital marketing, I like to think of an AI prompt as guiding instructions.
Notice the “s” at the end of the word instruction?
I’ve deliberately placed it there because to get any AI model to give you specific, actionable responses and not lead you down a rabbit hole, you need to feed it structured, layered inputs.
That’s the kind of prompt crafting I like to do anyway.
The more you guide the AI, the more layers you’ll add to the instruction and the better that model is able scour countless sources of information to deliver exactly what you need.
When AI enters the chat you get solutions that can move the needle in your business.😉
So let’s pick one area for using AI prompts in digital marketing; an email sequence.
You should absolutely have this in your marketing tool kit when launching any digital offer.
I’ll share one structured prompt and I’ll explain how I’ve structured it layer-by-layer to make it easy to customise and use in your email campaign.

No 2| Using AI Prompts in Digital Marketing: The Email Sequence
Ok, let’s clear the air.
Email copywriting can be soul crushing. 😉
And I get it, even as someone who gets paid to tap out conversion-driven email funnels et al, it sucks to hover over a keyboard with a blank mind, staring at a blank page.
Too many small biz owners never grow an email list.
They have launches and fail because they neglect creating an email sequence as part of their digital marketing efforts.
And as I said, I understand why.
Email copywriting, as essential as it is, can be overwhelming.
That’s why:
1) Having an AI framework is so golden, and…
2) Why creating a structured framework as a tried-and-true input for ChatGPT works every single time and expedites the assignment with more accuracy.
Let’s get straight to helping you with a structured AI prompt for creating an email sequence that connects and converts.
You can use the AI prompt below to launch both a product and/or service.
It’ll work really well if you have your key messages lined up.
Say, for instance, you’ve already written your landing page or perhaps you’ve spent time researching your ideal customer and are clear about their deepest desires.
Having this kind of detail at the ready just means you’re coming to the table prepared, bringing your human intelligence to make the AI work more precisely.

Why This AI Prompt Works In Your Digital Marketing
Ok. That’s it. I can’t wait for you to customise this AI prompt , and put it to work.
I designed it to help you confidently create a simple but complete email sequence, removing the guesswork.
Now, I’ve talked extensively about the importance of a robust email sequence and digital marketing here on this blog.
I’ve also shared lots of tips, formulas, and copywriting hacks in general.
But I have to remind you, if not knowing what to say or how to structure an email sequence has been keeping you back from meeting your sales goals or promoted a sense of overwhelm…
…then consider the AI prompt I just shared, your starter kit.
Of course, in the AI Copy Collective I’ve created a smarter, more multi-layered prompt for a longer, more complex email sequence.
But I need to remind you that whether you’re using a complex or simple AI prompt for digital marketing, you’ll notice that nothing beats making sure your input into the AI model is as specific as possible.
** Structure, first.***
***Specificity, next.***
Because the more specific you can be in defining your product and audience, the context, the more on-point your output from your AI model will be.
Put These Tips To Work
To round things off, here are a few notes about how to use the prompt I just shared.
You want to always optimise your results so:
Go layer by layer, and don’t let the AI write all 5 emails at once. That way, you can tweak and customise as you go along.
Customise the prompts by inserting your specific details—that’s how you’ll get an output that feels like you. To do that, look for the word ‘Insert,’ then remove it along with the brackets and insert your own information.
Save this AI prompt for your digital marketing so you can use it over and over again just by refreshing the details.
