How many times has this happened to you?
You need to get a piece of content out. You’ve procrastinated long enough, and you’ve finally sat down in front of the computer, coffee-ready, to get the idea out of your head. But then, nothing but a blank screen.
Yeah, me too. And I’m a writer.
My father, who was a journalist, used to tell me all the time, “Procrastination will steal from you until you’re blind, so go write anyway, Judette.”
I was about 8 at the time.
And I’ve followed his words for years, and they’ve always served me. But let me tell you—the amount of time I could have saved from those tangled, messy first drafts if I’d had ChatGPT… I’d probably have a château in Paris by now.
A good ChatGPT prompt for writing will cut through every single mental roadblock you have.
Craft them well, add structure, and you’ll be able to move through the clutter and bring out your brand’s unique messages.
Not only that—you’ll be able to scale how much content you produce. It’s such a chef’s kiss. 👨🏽🍳
In this blog post, I’m untying the velvet ropes and sharing four ChatGPT prompts for writing that I personally built for the AI Copy Collective. These prompts take the pressure off and will allow the words to flow easily.
If you’re ready to get those ideas out of your head and onto the page, keep reading—I’ve got 3 goodies for you.

ChatGPT Prompt for Content Writing No. 1| Planning
First up, a ChatGPT prompt for writing content during a launch phase. The output on this is just amazing because it’s so specific.
Here’s what I’ll do first.
I’ll share the one prompt that I used for my launch. You’ll see how personalised and relevant it is to me and what I wanted to achieve. Then, I’ll go deeper.
I’ll also give you a customisable AI framework where you can just plug in your own information, place it into ChatGPT, and get exactly what output need.
The personalised ChatGPT input for the launch phase is below followed directly by the customisable prompt.
ChatGPT prompt for content writing during a launch period
I am a content creator specialising in creating digital offers for female founders.
My content pillars are digital offers, passive income, AI prompts, productivity, and being stylish while building a business as an over-40 entrepreneur.
I post six times a week (never on a Monday) and sell digital products and services to help female entrepreneurs build successful online businesses.
In October, I am launching my next digital offer and online course, and I want my social media content to reflect this. Please create a social media calendar for October in a table format. The table should include four columns:
Date
Type of post (Reel, Carousel, Single Post)
Caption
Supporting text used in the video or image
Ensure that 70% of my content combines storytelling with sales (sharing personal anecdotes, client success stories, behind-the-scenes moments) and 30% adds value (tips, educational content, motivation).
Please include holidays and international days that are relevant to my business.
Keep the tone warm, relatable, and motivating, as I like to connect with my audience authentically. Incorporate audience engagement posts where relevant (like questions, polls, or calls for opinions) to foster community interaction, especially in the lead-up to the launch.
Ensure the content builds momentum for the launch—start with value-based posts early in the month, leading up to sales-oriented content as the launch date nears.

No.2 | Best ChatGPT Prompt For Content Writing: Captions
Everyone struggles with writing captions, small biz owners even more so.
Look, it’s not about perfection—it’s about getting it done and moving on with your day.
For most of us, succeeding (or flailing) on social media really comes down to consistency. I tell my students this all the time: if you can’t show up consistently, what’s the point of keeping those empty platforms alive?
It makes no sense, and it just leaves you feeling guilty. But you’re not less than. You’re just busy.
And let’s be real—most of us didn’t grow up doing the social media tango.
This is where a structured ChatGPT prompt for writing comes in, especially for those times when the content calendar feels like it’s staring at you waiting to be filled.
Using ChatGPT for content writing is a really smart way to get over your caption writing hump.
The problem-solve-agitate framework
As you can tell, I love a solid framework when it comes to prompts—anything that takes the guesswork out and brings structure to the writing process.
And I say this not just as a person who writes,
Frameworks mean more time freedom and building them for scale means I don’t have to reinvent the wheel every single time.
The next framework I want to share is the good ol’ Problem-Agitate-Solve (PAS) framework.
This one’s a classic in marketing and writing, and it’s my go-to for a couple of reasons.
As a small business owner, you need to do a couple of things with some of your captions:
- Show your product or service as the answer to your customer’s problems, and
- Make sure that with your caption your ideal customers know you truly understand them.
- They need to know that you’re aware of what keeps them up at night, what they struggle with day in and day out, and what fears they have when looking for a solution.
Your job is to agitate the problem just enough to make them feel seen.
That’s the most crucial step in a Problem-Agitate-Solve caption. Once you do that, you can position yourself and your product/ service as the guide who helps them solve it.
Use the framework for your captions
Compose a social media caption using the Problem-Agitate-Solve (PAS) framework to highlight the challenges faced by [INSERT audience details, e.g., female founders over 40] in [INSERT specific problem, e.g., scaling their digital offers], agitate the frustration it causes, and provide a solution that promotes [INSERT product or service, e.g., AI Copy Collective].
Draw inspiration from my personal experiences. For instance, when I was launching my digital offer, I remember facing [INSERT relatable pain point, e.g., the overwhelming pressure of creating consistent, engaging content while managing everything else in my business]. Mention how the [INSERT product or service, e.g., AI Copy Collective] can help alleviate this challenge by providing [INSERT specific benefit, e.g., structured AI prompts to simplify content creation].
Make the tone of the caption engaging and friendly. Use the brand voice of [INSERT the name of an admired wrtier/influencer, creator whose tone you respect]. Write the caption over three paragraphs:
Problem: Describe the specific challenge your audience faces in a relatable way, using an emotional hook to capture attention. For example, “Ever sat down to create content but found yourself staring at a blank screen, overwhelmed by the pressure to stay consistent and relevant? Yeah, me too.”
Agitate: Amplify the frustration caused by this problem, incorporating relevant statistics or quotes to strengthen credibility. Mention the feelings of exhaustion and the endless cycle of pressure. For example, “Did you know that 60% of small business owners struggle with maintaining consistent content during a launch? The struggle is real, and the burnout is even more so.”
Solve: Provide a solution that promotes the product or service in an engaging manner, while maintaining a warm, motivational tone. End with a call to action encouraging further engagement or directing users to learn more. For example my AI Copy Collective course helps you craft structured prompts that take away the mental roadblocks, helping you get your message out to the world without the overwhelm.
ChatGPT Prompt For Content Writing
No. 3| Repurpose Your Caption
Let’s talk about repurposing because its where the longevity of content writing lives.
It’s where your content gets its long legs.
I’ll die on this hill, I swear.
Ok, question time:”Do you repurpose your content?”
I know, I know not everyone does because we get so caught up on the hamster wheel of doing and doing, producing fresh content, forgetting that there are about 90% of your followers don’t even see the original post
If there’s one thing I’ve learned over my content creation journey it’s that → your best content, even your ordinary posts, needs another day to shine.
Repurposing isn’t about being lazy; it’s about working smarter and making sure every drop of effort counts.
That IG post that got tons of your followers commenting? It might make a killer carousel next week, or perhaps it will transform into a Pinterest pin that sends leads your way for months.
The beauty of repurposing is how it helps you reinforce your core message without reinventing the wheel every time.
Whether you’re spinning blog content into bite-sized reels or using a webinar as the foundation for a brand-new email series, repurposing means getting the most out of every piece of content you create.
And this it where a good ChatGPT prompt for content writing comes in.
An arsenal of repurposed content allows you take a deep breath, get off the hamster wheel, and still show up where it matters most.
Here’s a the ChatGPT prompt for writing that will help you with repurposing your content.

- Scale your best prompts and save time just by switching out your inputs within the same framework.
- When you get your output do even more personalisation. The secret sauce is in the stories you share.
