Juggling a heap of things all at the same time is my thing…until it’s not. 🙃

I ( hit that point yesterday /reached a low last week/ felt off for the past month).

Here’s how it all rolled out.

______( I missed calls and now I have to play catch up to return/ an inbox that actually reads 50 unread emails” which actually feels like an ominous sign/ my hair looks and feels like the stress I feel plus the world feels heavy.

It feels like you’ve got it together until you don’t. You can delay rest until you can’t.

One of the things that’s hard for me to connect with is saying no to people. Admitting that I can’t do it all, is my Achilles heel.

If you struggle _____(with saying yes all the time /not stating boundaries, know that your worth isn’t knitted to the fact that you can do it all. Or that you will always show up. Or that you can handle everything.

You still have lots to offer beyond your ability to be everything to everyone. ❤️

Hey, it’s my birthday! We’re going to party like it’s my birthday.

Celebration songs aside friends, as I sit here on the verge of (state your age) I feel more Iike myself than ever before.

I feel good about who I am.

I feel settled _____ ( in my skin, in my truth, with my identity)

I feel confident in my core values and all the moments that make my story_____ (so complex/ unique/ special).

I don’t have it all figured out but yet I feel so free

______(Maybe it’s age, maybe it’s wisdom/ hindsight) but I know that whatever I face, I have it in me to be able to get through whatever comes next.

The easing of constantly stressing about what’s around the corner, and the lessening of my anxiety about what success looks like tomorrow is a beautiful thing to feel.

I could’ve never imagined that my (30s/40s/50/60s ) could be what my younger self needed to be and yet here I am

To all the young ones that follow me, If you’re stressed about what’s to come, know it gets better.

And if you’re as old and feeling as beautiful as I am today…can I get an amen? 🙏🏻❤️
